Jannen's 5-star pet hotel is primarily a hotel for cats, but we also take in kind companion dogs. The dogs are free with each other during the stay because our hotel is completely cage-free.

The dogs do not suffer from loneliness or separation anxiety when there is always company. The most important thing for us is the dog's well-being, health and 100% safety.

Our hotel premises are AIR-CONDITIONED, inspected by the official veterinarian, approved and praised by them.

Criteria for dogs coming to stay:

1. In both hotels (Tapanila and Kerava) we accept kind dogs for staying.  

2. To our Tapanila Pet hotel are welcome kind, clean and healthy Companion Dogs who get along with other dogs and also with our own CATS! This condition is only for the Tapanila hotel, where our own cats live freely with the dogs.

NOTE! In the Kerava hotel, dogs do not have to be used to cats.

3. Bring your own male belt/female pants (if necessary, you can borrow them from us).

4. We want to be good neighbors and for this reason we do not take in dogs that are very sensitive of loud barking.

5. We only accept neutered and sterilized dogs. We can make exceptions to this only if the dog's character is such that it gets along with other dogs without causing problems in the pack.

6. We do not take a sick dog (with an infectious disease) for staying with us. A dog on medication can be brought in, if the disease is not contagious.

Coming to us:

Jannen's pet hotel Tapanila: Parking spaces for drivers can be found either in the yard or on the streets around the house. Helsinki-Vantaa airport by car only approx. 15-20 minutes! We are also easily accessible by public transport. Bus no. 74 stops in front of the house. Malmi and Tapanila train stations are a short walk away.

IMPORTANT! Call us via phone when you're at the gate! -DO NOT OPEN THE GATE!!!

Make an appointment well in advance to get to know each other, before the first treatment period. This is how we get to know your dog and he gets to know us. After passing the "test", the dog has access to a place it is already familiar with. During the familiarization visit, we see the dog's attitude towards the cats and towards the house's other dogs.

Holiday greetings are given only on request. We do not automatically send holiday greetings from the treatment period.

A TV-series is filmed in the hotels. Photographs of the pets being cared for can be published on our website, Social media channels and in our company's advertising, etc. The use of the photographs and their rights are reserved.

NOTICE ALL DOG OWNERS.

- You can bring and pick up the dog at the agreed time, not EARLY or very late because we may have feeding etc. going on in the hotel. If you are going to be late, please let us know by phone. Thank you.

When you reach the hotel, please call! We will come to the gate. DO NOT OPEN THE GATE! Watch the video below!

We want to maintain a stress-free atmosphere for the hotel's guests. For this reason, we hope for as little traffic as possible at the hotels.

When the dog arrives for stay, please bring a valid certificate of vaccination coverage and your own ID.

Vaccination recommendation: Valid quadruple vaccine (rabies, parvo, distemper, infectious hepatitis, kennel cough and parainfluenza virus) and up-to-date deworming.

Please bring with you the following:

-Vaccination certificate (vaccines must be up-to-date, including worming!)

-Treats, but no bones! Bones can cause tinnitus.

-Bring the dog's own food. We have space in the refrigerator and freezer for cold storage of food, and food can be thawed or heated in the microwave if necessary.

-When booking, please tell us about the dog's possible allergy/medication.

-Administering medicines is included in our price! (no injections!)

NOTE! When making a reservation, always remember to tell which hotel you are making a reservation for. You also agree to our contract, cancellation and payment terms. Read them carefully before booking.

Please make sure that the dog does not have parasites or contagious diseases. If your dog contracts a disease or brings parasites to the pet hotel, you are responsible for the costs incurred by the pet hotel and third parties.

We make a written care agreement with each owner upon arrival.
