Dog welfare and care of the fur:

Fur routine care that everyone can use at home.

I also teach these things "hands-on" in my private grooming course (read more below).

1. BEFORE WASHING, you should give the dog a proper brushing and hair removal if there are hairs. If there are, they are usually behind the ears, ears, tail and armpits. Often also on the legs if the hair is longer. Use a good tangle remover, a brush and finally a comb.

2. When washing, you should always use high-quality dog care products. Wash twice if the coat is very dirty. Watch out for your eyes! Using conditioner/mask/leave-in conditioner after washing, especially if you have matted fur. -Always remember to rinse well!

3. DRY THE FUR with a towel as well as possible. The dryer must not be too hot or use a fur dryer intended for dogs, while brushing while the hair dryer is blowing.

4. THE EARS. Clean the ears with a cleaning liquid and a cotton. Ear hair removal, if needed. For removal, you should have the necessary powder so that you don't hurt the dog while plucking the hairs out.

5. NAILS If you cut them 0.5-1 mm once a week, the nails will not grow too long. Never cut too much because it can leave a trauma for the dog and after that it is no longer easy to cut. Take the dog to have its nails cut if you don't trust your abilities to cut your dog's nails.

6. TREATS can (and should) be given as a reward after every grooming so that this is not a boring thing for the dog, but the dog learns that it is a nice thing that is always rewarded.

A few happy customer..
